The seventh edition of the Romanian Energy Awards takes place on 24 May 2018 in Bucharest, at JW Marriott Hotel - Constanta Ballroom and brings together the Who’s Who in the energy sector in Romania.
The Awards Gala organized by The Diplomat – Bucharest is an elite event and a platform to recognize, reward and celebrate the success of the most prominent firms acting in the energy field in Romania.
Based on rigorously researched information and a Judging Panel formed of prominent names in business, government and academic society, the event established itself as a must attend in the Romanian energy events calendar.
The Romanian Energy Awards represents an ideal opportunity to seek independent recognition for a particular project or an individual person, to celebrate and raise the profile of your achievements. This award recognizes the achievements of an individual that demonstrates leadership and commitment to the energy sector creating a positive impact with the business he/she managed.

This award recognizes the activity of an individual that was directly responsible for creating and instituting innovative and effective programs, projects, or technologies and/or have otherwise significantly helped the public or private sectors meet their goals.

This award honors a business organization demonstrating superior performance in the development, delivery and innovation of oil and gas field, products and services.

This award honors a business organization demonstrating superior performance in the development, delivery and innovation of electricity generation, products and services.

This award honors a business organization demonstrating superior performance in the development, delivery and innovation of renewable energy, energy products and services.

This award honors a business organization demonstrating superior performance in the development and implementation of energy storage technologies.

This award recognizes an organization that is demonstrating excellence and innovation in environmental management and sustainable practices in business.

This award recognizes the lifetime achievements of an individual that demonstrates commitment to the energy sector creating a positive impact with the business he/she works in.

This award recognizes the achievements of an association or non-profit organization (NGO) whose activities have had a positive impact on the energy sector.

This award honors a public sector organization or a private company demonstrating superior performance in implementing customer-centric strategies in energy and power projects, products and services. It refers to benefits generated by digitalization in distributed energy resources and marketplace, preventative and condition-based maintenance and predictive outage, smart grid and smart pipes and customer interaction.

This award honors the most resource efficient and least polluting public sector organization, business or community organization.

This award honors the performance, leadership and innovation for new products that deliver improvements in energy productivity. A wide range of products are eligible for consideration in this category, include appliances, lighting control systems and energy management systems.

This award honors the achievements of those companies that have successfully planned and executed the digital transformation of one or multiple areas of their business through the use of digital and disruptive technologies.

This award recognizes the popularity aspect of an energy company brand. The nomination process for this award will be conducted online exclusively, with online voters being in charge of proposing and assessing the nominees.

This award is for insurance companies that have provided specific services and products to the energy sector that differentiate them from their peers.

This award is a way of demonstrating an organisation's commitment to improving its health and safety performance, by promoting best practice in health, safety and wellbeing.

This award recognizes successful case examples of great achievements in industry-academia-government collaborative activities by universities, public research institutes, companies and other entities and to honor them for their outstanding contributions to the promotion of such collaboration and their success in pioneering achievements.

 

AWARDS APPLICATION PROCEDURE

AWARD CATEGORIES DEFINITIONS

Project Awards: A project nomination must describe either one or a set of activities that directly resulted in measures that impacted positively on the sector. Nominations should describe projects that are particularly exceptional or innovative and go beyond "business as usual" measures.

Company Awards: These categories of awards honor a business organization demonstrating superior performance in the development, delivery and innovation of conventional or renewable energy, energy products and services.

Individual Award: Nominees should be extraordinary individuals who have been directly responsible for creating and instituting innovative and effective programs, projects, or technologies and/or have otherwise significantly helped the agency meet its energy goals.

The deadline for all nominations is Friday, 11 May, 2018. The nomination procedure will be closed after this date and late entries will not be considered for 2018 awards.

SELECTION PROCESS

The panel of jury members will review and score nominations. As part of the narrative, please include detailed information for each applicable award criterion.
